Venue, a days Fly Fishing at Craigluscar Resovior fishery in Dunfermline, Fife on 1st October 2009 - this is bank fishing only.
It is not often one comes across a man-made water which captures the imagination and pleases the eye as much as this one does. The fishery comprises two redundant water-supply reservoirs in some very scenic, wooded landscape, situated a couple of miles north of Dunfermline, just off the A823.
Venue, a days Fly Fishing at Lake of Menteith on 8th October 2009 - this is boat fishing only.
Lake of Menteith is set in the Trossachs, amidst magnificent scenery where Highland meets Lowland, the 700-acre Lake of Menteith is a well regarded rainbow and brown trout fishery in Scotland and is reputed to be the best location for fly fishing for rainbow trout and brown trout in Central Scotland. Its central location (Glasgow 45 mins, Edinburgh 60 mins, Perth 50 mins) makes it ideal for meeting with friends for a day's or evening's fishing.
Fly Fishing equipment can be supplied to 20 anglers including flies and home made flies, hand tied by PO Malcolm including the notorious "SEMTEX FLY" a real killer .
All expected facilities will be available at both fishing lodges.
