This year's 4 services were held on Wednesday 30th September 2009 on the River Ouse at Littleport, Cambs

Six teams of eight anglers entered the event (2 from the RAF and DRSA and 1 from the RNRM and Army). A cold but relatively dry day made for a good river match. Overall the RNRMAA finished 4th overalll.

AET John Gaylard won his individual section with a weight of 4lbs 7oz. Both PO Martin duan 6lbs 15oz and SGT Ads Palmer 2lbs 8oz 8 dr were runner's up in their respective sections. PO Martin Duan was also joint 5th in the individual event.

Overall the match team was won by the RAF Red team with the Army the runners up. Dusty Kiddel from RAF Red was the individual winner, with an impressive weight of 22lbs 15oz. Glynn Horrocks from the Army was the runner up with the only other weight to reach double figures, 19lb s 12oz.
