Each year we will try to hold 5 matches within the Navy Carpers, ideally each command rep would organize one match each with a Carp Champs being the 5th. The long term aim is to enter a team into the BCAC’s along side the Army Carpers and RAF. With this in mind we run all our matches along the same lines with each match fished in pairs and over 48 hours. The match venues are designed to cover as many varied waters as possible from out and out big fish waters to out and out runs waters, large wind swept reservoirs to smaller intimate estate type lakes.

There is a points system in place for these matches which then go forward to the overall Leader board. At the end of the year these results are then used to select a Navy representative Team to fish against the other services at the annual Inter Service Event the following year as well as any invitational events we attend. Anglers selected for this may then be awarded their Navy Angling colours.
